Shore families pay their taxes like everyone else. We deserve our fair share back home: for our roads, our schools, and our healthcare system. Right now, we aren't getting enough.

Here's the insider baseball most folks don't know, but local leaders do. Love it or hate it, Maryland has a Democratic supermajority, and Democrats have controlled both houses of the legislature for over 100 years. That's where the priorities are set and the money gets carved up.

Annapolis doesn't need another Democratic vote. The Eastern Shore does.

Every district in the state fights for its communities, regardless of party. But at the end of the day, that fight is won inside the room where legislative priorities are set. When our district has TWO Democrats in that room, we'll have better leverage to move projects that make a difference here at home.

Without that voice, the Shore gets scraps. It's gotten so bad that some local organizations are now paying for their own lobbyists just to get their projects heard. If the system we have now were working, wouldn't we be passing more bills and bringing more home to the Shore?

We used to have more leverage in Annapolis. The changes in our representation over the last 20 years may have felt good at the ballot box, but they haven't solved our problems. They've cost us.

Any plan you hear this election is just that, a plan. Without a seat at the table, it won't go anywhere once the campaign is over. I believe every perspective deserves to be heard. But to deliver for our communities, the Shore needs a stronger voice inside the majority.

A voice for the Shore.
A focus on results.
