PRESS RELEASE
Former Salisbury Mayor Barrie Tilghman Endorses Katie Clendaniel for State Senate
Barrie Tilghman, who served as Mayor of Salisbury from 1998 to 2009, has endorsed Katie Clendaniel for Maryland Senate District 37.
Over more than a decade leading Salisbury, Tilghman saw firsthand what it takes to turn local priorities into real results for Shore families. Tilghman also served as president of the Maryland Municipal League, representing cities and towns across the state.
Katie has spent twenty years helping communities across the Shore turn local priorities into funded projects and visible results. In the State Senate, she'll fight to lower electric bills and grocery costs and to make housing and health care more affordable for families in Caroline, Dorchester, Talbot and Wicomico counties.
Early voting begins October 22. Election Day is November 3.
