MSEA Endorses Katie Clendaniel

Katie Clendaniel has received the endorsement of the Maryland State Education Association (MSEA) in her campaign for Maryland State Senate District 37.

MSEA joins the rapidly growing list of organizations supporting Clendaniel’s campaign and her work to strengthen communities across the Eastern Shore.

“I’m honored to receive MSEA’s endorsement,” said Clendaniel. “My parents worked for over 30 years to support the development of generations of children. As a child, I grew up surrounded by a community of educators, people who loved children, supported them and valued education for all”. Clendaniel's parents worked hard to increase teacher pay to attract and retain the best educators. “Strong schools are essential to strong communities” says Clendaniel. Katie Clendaniel is a candidate committed to making sure every child and educator has the support they need to thrive.

The endorsement was officially confirmed on October 5, 2026 as Clendaniel and her team race towards the general election this November 3rd! The support of the Maryland State Education Association (MSEA) continues to propel Team Katie forward.
