Senator Mautz, You're Running Against Me, Not Wes Moore

News flash, Senator Mautz: you're not running against Wes Moore. You're running against me. If you wanted to take on Wes Moore, you should have run for governor.

Here's what you don't want to talk about. You've represented the Shore in Annapolis for twelve years. Twelve years. Yet your own newsletter admits we're still “not getting our fair share” and are “drowning in taxes, fees, regulations.” Who has been representing us all that time?

You say the other side has “the power and the votes.” After twelve years, your closing argument is that you can't deliver because someone else is in charge. Families don't need more excuses. We need a senator who will work with anyone, and stand up to either party, to get results.

I'm an Eastern Shore native with 20 years in nonprofits and local government. I'll fight to bring home what our communities deserve: enough teachers in every classroom, doctors and emergency care close to home, good-paying jobs, lower costs, and homes our children and working families can afford.

You're warning about a “surge of Democrat voters.” What you should worry about is Republicans, independents, and Democrats coming together because they're tired of paying more and getting less.

I'm asking for your vote this Tuesday, November 3rd. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Let's replace excuses with results.
